Katie Vigunas joined The JBar Group as an Executive Legal Recruiter in 2019 because she greatly enjoys meeting and conversing with new people, and learning about their career and life aspirations.  These communication skills allow Katie to act as a perfect "matchmaker" between attorneys and law firms. She is highly responsive to all candidates and clients, and is eager to answer any and all questions about any search that she is working on until the right match is made. Katie looks forward to continuing to build her network of contacts, fostering long-term relationships in the legal recruitment industry. 

Katie earned her J.D. at Villanova University Charles Widger School of Law, and her B.A. in Justice and Communications at American University in Washington D.C. While in law school, she interned with the General Counsel of the School District of Philadelphia. After graduation, she worked as an Associate Attorney at two Philadelphia law firms, primarily handling litigation, domestic relations, civil and criminal matters. She also handled estate, landlord/tenant and collection proceedings. Katie currently resides in Monmouth County, New Jersey with her family, enjoys going to the beach, and roots for the New York Giants and New York Yankees.
